Talk The Talk is delighted to be offering online versions of our workshops Talk About Communication, Talk About The Future and Talk The Talk Teacher CPD

If you are looking to get your students talking in the online world, and want to offer something a little different during these difficult times, we can help by providing live online workshops for your students.

How Does It Work?

Each student workshop is for between 22 and 30 students
Each student workshop is 4 hours long but split into two live online blocks – each of two hours
Blocks can be delivered on the same day or, ideally, split over two days in the same week
Workshops are delivered through Microsoft Teams. If you wish to use an alternative platform, we can discuss this with you
Students will need access to their own unique device with a microphone and headphones
Talk The Talk Teacher CPD is available as a one hour workshop delivered at your convenience

Talk About Communication – Online

Years 7-13

During this workshop students will explore:

Confident Communication – The real world and the online world
What Does Good Communication Look Like?
Visual, Vocal and Verbal Communication – Criteria for success
Structured Talk – How to prepare and plan ahead
Talk About Content – How our content can add a professional flair
Expressing Opinions – A live debate to test the new skills of your students

Years 10-13

During this workshop students will explore:

Transposing Life Experiences – To define their unique skill set
Talk About Moving On – Taking those next steps
Interview Preparation – The real world and the online world
Storytelling – The power of the story within interview
The Ideal Job – What are your students looking for?

Both Talk About Communication and Talk About The Future workshops are interspersed with interactive games and discussion activity to get your students out from behind their microphones and boost their confidence in the online world.
