Development Director.
England & Wales. Home based.
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum FTE.
Full-time, but with scope for flexibility on contracted hours.
Talk The Talk is an education charity providing staff and students with a range of practical oracy workshops closely aligned to the National Curriculum. Our workshops hone communication skills and support a consistent approach across all subjects throughout schools in England & Wales, which are delivered by our group of professional trainers. Talk The Talk started in 2013 and is now well established across more than 200 secondary schools who pay 50% of the costs with the balance covered by charitable sources and earned income. We have successfully navigated our way through the pandemic and are proud of the fact that we have continued to deliver in-person workshops in schools as restrictions allowed.
As our new Development Director, reporting to the Executive Chair of Trustees you will lead Talk The Talk at an exciting point in the charity’s progress as we implement our growth development plan. The charity is in a strong position with reserves set aside and strong workshop bookings for 2021 – 2022. We aim to grow our range of activities over the next 3 years to influence and encourage many more young people to achieve our mission of ‘confident communication for life’.
If you are inspired to join us then provide a CV and covering letter introducing yourself to us and the reasons why you think this job is for you. If we are interested in you from the information you send to us, we will organise an initial meeting via MS Teams.
